Tussen Krewerd en Nijenklooster ligt een smal betonnen pad door de weilanden. Al op de topografische kaart van 1910 is dit pad aangegeven als een verhard voetpad. Vermoedelijk is het een oud kerkenpad. Nu is het een fietspad waaronder meer de internationale Dollardroute overheen loopt. . Het is een spannend fietspad, bij tegenliggers moet je even naast het pad de wei in.
