The farewell to the last dieseltrain of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen was at 14 oktober 2017 at the line of heritage railway STAR between Stadskanaal and Veendam. Here the train stop at the railway viaduct across the channel Stadskanaal at Bareveld as a moment for making pictures. The most people were passengers of that train. I was travelling with my recumbent bicycle.
